About Me
I have been a member of Nalgo and UNISON since starting to work in 1970.
I represent members as Education Convenor Job Share with Ken Owen. I am Convenor for Stoke-on-Trent Schools in the South of the City and also cover the Sixth Form College.
I am a member of a number of schools, corporate, regional and national committees. These include: Schools Procedures Committee, Schools JMG, CYPS, Local Consultation Group, Corporate Strategy Group, Corporate Consultation Group, Corporate Health and Safety Committee, Regional Council, Local Government Committee and National Youth and Community Workers’ Committee .
I have a keen interest in Stress Management and Health and Safety and am actively involved in negotiating schools procedures and policies and all matters relating to members employed in Schools.
