Enough Is Enough
27/3/12. Our high profile NJC pay campaign has begun. Chief Executives are asked to pay the £250 for those earning under £21,000 full time as promised by the Chancellor as a consolidated payment, to identify part time employees who may be affected by the change in conditions for Working Tax Credit and seek to enhance their hours to 24 and to resist making further cuts to pay, hours and conditions at local level.
Another Pay Freeze for NJC Workers
27/2/12 – The Local Government Employers have imposed a pay freeze for a third year running on NJC Workers, without George Osbourne’s promised £250 compensation for those earning below £21,000.

It has been agreed at the NJC Committee that this and last years “non offers”, redundancy, inflation, local attacks on pay and conditons, the car allowance “freeze” and the attack on equalities and the LGPS will form a wider, high profile workforce campaign and pay claim for 2012/13.
